The PC game of virtual people from EA, The Sims 2, is back with another big expansion! The Sims 2: Nightlife lets you take your Sim downtown for a date in your stylin' new car and maybe even meet a vampire or two. What's the deal? We review this new video game expansion pack right here.

What's New in The Sims 2: Nightlife?

There are four big new things for you to play with in this expansion set.

Downtown - It's a new zone your Sim can travel to and it's packed with stores, restaurants and clubs for your Sim to party in.

Dating - Yep, your Sim can head downtown for an exciting date with his or her fave hottie. Keep the fun-o-meter up though, or your date will hit dullsville in no time.

Cars - Now your Sim can buy a car and park it in the garage or take it out for a spin.

Vampires - One of Buffy's buddies is prowling downtown and, if you're not careful, he'll put the bite on your Sim and you'll end up as a vampire too!

You can have a Sim vampire! Ok, it sucks for your Sim's job and anything you want to do in the daytime, but you can turn into a bat and make more vampires. Sweet! The new dating thing is great too - from finding a hottie that matches your Sim's idea of a dream date, to going on a hot date, it's all rad.

Lameness in The Sims 2: Nightlife

Um, lame cars much? It costs an arm and a leg to get one, you can't style 'em up like the peeps in "Pimp my Ride" and even driving it places is weak. Meh, get a Segway instead.

How Hot is the Nightlife in The Sims 2?

This expansion adds a ton of cool new stuff to The Sims 2 and is totally worth checking out. The vampires are more goofy than serious and the cars are lame, but downtown is great and dating is awesome!
