Card Game Mania! Yu-Gi-Oh! Champ and Pokemon Tourneys

The first week of July 2007 is packed with parties, fun and almost no gaming news! There are hardly any new games coming out - but that's cool cuz it means more time to live large on the Fourth of July and to watch the Transformers movie about a bajillion times. We do have the 411 on Atari's new horse games, plus info on the Blue Dragon anime RPG for Xbox 360. We also have a list of all the new games that drop this week for every game system from Nintendo DS to Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PSP and even for your PC!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game - 2007 National Champion!

The top four Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game duelists in North America have had their final showdown! It went down on July 3, 2007 in Carlsbad, California with over 700 players from all over the US competing. The four winners will be heading to the 2007 Yu-GI-Oh! • Pokemon Card Game - 2007 Tournaments!

The Pokemon Trading Card Game National Championships are hitting Columbus, Ohio on July 7-8, 2007! This is the big showdown for players looking to become a national champion, to win prizes, including $5,000 scholarships, and to get invited to the Pokemon TCG World Championships! To get in on the action, head to the Origins International Game Expo at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High St., Columbus, Ohio, and get ready to battle - starting at 9AM!

Atari + International Equestrial Federation = Horse Games!

Horse lovers, get ready for party time! The video game giant Atari has hooked up with the International Equestrian Federation and they're putting together a bunch of horse games, including horse sports and lifestyle activities. They'll be coming for different game systems when they drop in autumn '07 and we'll have more info soon!

Blue Dragon - Anime RPG for Xbox 360

Dragons, swords, big eyes and small mouths - it's Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360! So what's the big deal? The big deal is that this anime-style role-playing game has been created by the people behind Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Dragon Ball Z! You won't find Goku in this game, but you will find a ton of fantasy adventure when it drops on August 28, 2007.
