I Can't Get Rid of my Acne!

I was wondering if you could give me some advice? I need help with acne and blackheads. I don't have that many pimples - they come and go and it's fine with me cuz I have cover-up. I need help on the blackheads. I've had blackheads on and around my nose, around my lips and on my chin. None of them have gone away and they have been there for over a year. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

Battling Blackheads

Both blackheads and whiteheads form because of excess skin cells being shed and plugging your pores. In order to prevent blackheads from forming in the first place, exfoliate your skin on a regular basis with something like a basic apricot scrub. This will help remove the dead skin cells before they get the chance to clog your pores.

For those blackheads or whiteheads that already exist, there are many products on the market that claim to be able to help you remove those pesky blemishes. Try pore strips from companies like Ponds or Neutrogena. They can remove debris from the pores without risk of damaging the skin. Avoid pushing on the blocked pores as you might push the blackhead or whitehead deeper into the pore and that can result in infection.

Attacking Acne

Acne is the result of an infected whitehead. Bacteria manage to get trapped underneath your skin and then cause an infection. The best way to treat acne is by applying a cream or ointment with a drying agent like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These can be found in a number of products at your local drugstore.

Time To See The Dermatologist

If you have tried several products and acne removal techniques with no results, it's probably time to see a dermatologist. They can assess your skin condition and might have to prescribe special medication for your acne problem. Remember that you are not going to see results within days of using any particular treatment, so do give things a chance before rushing off to see a doc.

Get some help cuz you need go to the store and get Clearasil the pimple stuff. Believe me, it'll work. Peace Out!!!
