This 29 year old restaurant interior designer lives in Vancouver, Canada making her the first Canadian Bachelorette. Jillian is determined to find her best friend and soulmate, and she’s willing to work hard to find him. After all, she often says “you have to slay a few dragons before you find your Prince Charming.”

This season offers a crazy mix of potential partners for Jillian, from pilots and wine makers to country western singers and breakdancers. While most men seem genuine, not all of them are in it for the right reasons. And it’ll be up to Jillian to weed through the men and discover those who are hiding their thorns.

The First Impression Rose

Some of the Bachelor’s pulled interesting stunts to get Jillian’s attention: Jesse wore an undershirt with “Aspiring Canadian” written on the chest, Wes wrote her a country song, Michael taught her how to breakdance. But the first impression rose went to David for “choking up” at their first meeting. From a viewer’s perspective, his performance looked like a bad bit of acting. Jillian tried to call his bluff, but he denied putting on a fake show to get her attention. We’ll see if Jillian Harris really is as good a judge of character as she claims to be.
