Valentines Day is fast approaching! Heres some sweet tunes - by No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, The White Stripes and more - to celebrate the day - with or without someone special!

Valentine's Day is a time for love. If ya don't have a guy or a girl but you're crushin' on someone, it's the perfect time to let 'em know how you feel. Whatever your plans - a romantic day wouldn't be complete without music. Here are some love songs that are sure to get you in a Valentine's mood. You could even burn a slow-mix CD for that special someone...

#1. Where is the Love by Black Eyed Peas

This song isn't about girlfriend-boyfriend love - it's about love for everyone. It's got great melodies and vocals (featuring Justin Timberlake).

#2. In the Cold, Cold Night by The White Stripes

This little love song is on the Elephant CD and it's sung by Meg White, not Jack White. It's got beautiful lyrics and Meg's got a bit of a haunting voice.

#3. One Thing by Finger Eleven

This band really broke it big on this tune. Sure the lyrics are a little vague, but the music is great and the lead singer, Scott Anderson's voice is killer. Great little love song!

#4. My Immortal by Evanescence

If you're still recovering from a broken heart this Valentine's Day, this song is for you! It's all about heartbreak and Amy Lee's voice is awesome on this tune!

#5. Underneath it All by No Doubt
This tune is not your average slow song. It's full of Jamaican flava and it's a true love story! No Doubt's lead singer, Gwen Stefani wrote it about her real-life hubby Gavin Rossdale. Cute!

“Instruction in world history in the so-called high schools is even today in a very sorry condition. Few teachers understand that the study of history can never be to learn historical dates and events by heart and recite them by rote; that what matters is not whether the child knows exactly when this battle or that was fought, when a general was born, or even when a monarch (usually a very insignificant one) came into the crown of his forefathers. No, by the living God, this is very unimportant. To 'learn' history means to seek and find the forces which are the causes leading to those effects which we subsequently perceive as historical events.”
