Top 10 Romantic Movies

Check out where Vanessa Hudgens, some indie rock kids and a tortured, love-sick vampire sit on Kidzworld's list of Top 10 Romantic Movies

#10. Bandslam

Charlotte wants to challenge her ex in the battle of the bands so she asks Will, the new kid in town, to help manage the band. Vanessa Hudgens also stars as the cute lead singer who falls for Will. It’s worth watching just to see rock icon David Bowie in a short cameo as himself.

#9. The Proposal

Sandra Bullock stars as a hardnosed book editor who’s hated by her entire staff. When she finds out she’s being deported to Canada, she forces her assistant Andrew (played by Ryan Reynolds) to marry her. But what starts out as a business deal, turns into a genuine romance when the two are forced to spend the weekend with Andrew’s family.

#8. Across The Universe

This musical is loosely tied around the stories taken from more than 30 Beatles songs. The plot revolves around Jude (named after the character from Hey Jude) and Lucy (Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds) who move to New York City to pursue their artistic dreams.

#7. The Notebook

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams star in this tear-jerker about first love. Allie and Noah meet at a carnival and fall madly in love. But, Allie's rich family doesn't approve of poor Noah and forces them apart. The Notebook is definitely a flick that you have to watch with a box of Kleenex at your side.

#6. A Walk To Remember

In this Nicholas Spark novel-turned-movie Mandy Moore plays a girl with leukemia whose life drastically changes when she meets a boy who is her exact opposite, and warns him not to fall in love with her.

I saw the premiere before I left and I have to say, I was somewhat impressed. Of course it's not as good as BMW but I think they have good potential.

I was very impressed by the first episode of Doctor Who I watched which I believe was called "Rose". It was creepy  but with enough of a hint of humor that it made for an enjoyable and interesting program. Me and my dad will definitely be continuing to watch more and more episodes of Doctor Who in the future.

The answer, obviously, is Doctor Who. The show has technically been running for almost 51 years. It's  a British T.V. show about an alien with two hearts who has been living for over 1,000 years, with a time machine that can travel anywhere, or anytime, in the universe. But there's a catch to his machine, which is known as a T.A.R.D.I.S, (Time And Relative Dimension In Space): It is forever broken and disguised as a 1950's telephone box. He chooses not to fix it, despite the companions he travels with wondering to themselves, "Why doesn't he fix it? Why did he have to break it as telephone police box?" He also tends to attempt to keep the companions for as long as possible. They tend to keep him in check, safe, sane, and non-genocidal. After all, being 1,800 years old, and I'm just guessing precisely how old he is, can make you feel lonely, angry, confused, scared, and vengeful. He had to destroy his whole planet to protect the rest of the universe from being destroyed by his people and their age old enemies, the Daleks. He will forevermore remember that day, and as punishment, from the self concious weapon he used, will have to live through for a long, long time.
