Disguised as a beauty queen in Miss Congeniality, Gracie Hart eliminated a threat against the Miss United States Pageant and won 1st runner-up in the process. In the sequel, Gracie is back to her tomboy style, doing undercover assignments which are difficult now that she's famous. After noticing the outpouring of letters from Gracie's new fans, police chief McDonald asks her to consider to working as a public representative of the FBI. At first she is hesitant, but after her boyfriend breaks her heart, she decides to do something positive for herself and to be a role model for young women. Her new title? "The face of the FBI".

Along with her new job, Gracie scores a new style squad, which includes Joel (Diedrich Bader) and Pam (Popular's Leslie Grossman) who transform her into a glamour girl. She travels around promoting her new book, speaking at press conferences and doing the talk show circuit. Her side-kick is tough-talking cop Sam Fuller (Regina King), who doesn't like her at first, calling her "FBI Barbie".

Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous - Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, Miss United States, Cheryl (Heather Burns), is kidnapped along with the pageant's emcee Stan (William Shatner). When Gracie gets word, she hops on a plane to help save the beauty queen, who also happens to be her best friend. At her side are bodyguard Fuller, stylist Joel and hottie Jeff (Enrique Murciano), a young Vegas cop with a heart of gold. Will Gracie solve the crime and save Cheryl, or will she get booted from the case for making one big mistake?
