Fame - It's Who You Know

They're young, rich, and famous. Read on to get the goods on celebs who hit the jackpot because of their last names- or who they married.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

The stars of The Simple Life Interns are socialite heiresses who shot to fame because of their families. Set to inherit an estimated $27.5 million from the Hilton hotel fortune, Paris has just launched a jewelry line, perfume, book and nightclub. She snagged roles in the upcoming flicks National Lampoon's Pledge This! and The House of Wax and models for Guess?. Nicole is famous for being singer Lionel Richie's daughter and Paris's best friend. Both girls are set to release albums in the near future.

Ashlee Simpson

She sold over 2.5 million copies of her debut album, Autobiography, but Ashlee Simpson probably wouldn't be where she is now without her famous big sis. She began her rise to fame with a role on 7th Heaven and has followed in Jessica's footsteps with her own MTV show, The Ashlee Simpson Show.

Haylie Duff

Her little sister Hilary is one of the biggest pop stars today. Needless to say, this helped Haylie snag roles on American Dreams and Napoleon Dynamite. To kick-start her singing career, Haylie had a duet with sister Hilary on the track Our Lips Are Sealed.

Kevin Federline

After Britney Spears reportedly bought her own engagement ring, she married Kevin, a back-up dancer and father of two. They live in an approximately $5.4 million Malibu home and Kevin scored the $2.3 million that he and Britney received from the sale of their wedding photos. He reportedly spent $20,000 on a recent weekend with pals in Las Vegas and will grace an upcoming cover of Details magazine.

Kelly and Jack Osbourne
Having a famous rocker daddy opened doors for Kelly and Jack, who starred with Ozzy and Sharon on The Osbournes. Kelly has since released an album and stars in Life As We Know It, while Jack scored a role opposite Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in New York Minute. The downside of fame? Both kids have gone through stints in rehab to treat substance abuse.

O'Ryan
With Omarion and Marques as his big brothers, it was smooth sailing for the Take It Slow singer when he released his self-titled, debut album. Now a huge hit with screaming girls everywhere, O'Ryan may be talented, but it leaves you wondering- where would he be without B2K?

Many of the reviews and critics say it's bad because they are only looking at it from 'comic to movie' perspective. It was still a really cool movie and you should go see it. I'd have to agree with this. The movie itself was great. I think some people looked at it poorly because they were expecting something more similar to the older films or comparing it too hard to the comics. I personally think that it was a great way to reinvent some of the characters.

"It's so hard to talk when you want to k-ll yourself. That's above and beyond everything else, and it's not a mental complaint-it's a physical thing, like it's physically hard to open your mouth and make the words come out. They don't come out smooth and in conjunction with your brain the way normal people's words do; they come out in chunks as if from a crushed-ice dispenser; you stumble on them as they gather behind your lower lip. So you just keep quiet.” Ned Vizzini, "It's Kind of a Funny Story"

“Isn't there something in living dangerously?' There's a great deal in it,' the Controller replied. 'Men and women must have their adrenals stimulated from time to time.' What?' questioned the Savage, uncomprehending. It's one of the conditions of perfect health. That's why we've made the V.P.S. treatments compulsory.' V.P.S.?' Violent Passion Surrogate. Regularly once a month. We flood the whole system with adrenin. It's the complete physiological equivalent of fear and rage. All the tonic effects of murdering Desdemona and being murdered by Othello, without any of the inconvenience.' But I like the inconveniences.' We don't,' said the Controller. 'We prefer to do things comfortably.' But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.' In fact,' said Mustapha Mond, 'you're claiming the right to be unhappy. Not to mention the right to grow old and ugly and impotent; the right to have ######## and cancer, the right to have too little to eat; the right to be lousy; the right to live in constant apprehension of what may happen tomorrow; the right to catch typhoid; the right to be tortured by unspeakable pains of every kind.' There was a long silence. I claim them all,' said the Savage at last. Mustapha Mond shrugged his shoulders. 'You're welcome,' he said.”
