90210: Season 3, Episode 17 :: Blue Naomi

Feb 28, 2011

This week on 90210 (Season 3, Episode 17), Naomi takes extreme measures to attract Max. Kidzworld reviews ‘Blue Naomi,’ which aired on February 28, 2011.

Avatar Costume

Ever since Naomi’s nerdy lab partner, Max, told her that she’s not his type, Naomi has been doing everything in her power to attract him. She sees on Max’s facebook page that he and his friends are dressing up for an Avatar convention, so she decides to do the same. But when she arrives and learns that the costume idea was a joke, she’s humiliated. Max realizes that Naomi really does like him, and they begin a secret relationship.

The Naked Text

Adrianna knows that Silver is the one who cheated with Navid. But instead of confronting her, she plays head games. She pretends that she thinks another girl is the cheater and threatens to send a naked picture of her to everyone’s cell phones. Silver doesn’t want the innocent girl to get hurt so she confesses...just like Adrianna was hoping for. Adrianna admits that she knew all along, and she sends out a naked picture of Silver instead.

Snoop Dogg

Now that Navid’s business is moving forward, he hires Dixon officially. He sends Dixon to get the Lamborghini detailed for an important meeting with a big client that night. But when Dixon doesn’t get back in time, Navid loses the client. When Dixon returns, Navid is furious. But what he doesn’t know is that Dixon spent the day with Snoop Dogg, and landed Navid and even bigger client.

Payback

Annie comes up with an elaborate plan to catch Emily in the act. She and Liam stage a fake break-up, knowing that Emily will jump at the chance to steal Liam. She asks him out to dinner, and when they arrive back from their “date,” he lets slip that Silver, Adrianna and Naomi said some mean comments about her. She responds by saying how she really feels about the girls, who are hiding in the next room and hear the whole thing. Bye-bye Emily. Can’t say we’re sorry to see you go!

It included a lot of mature themes and it really connects with today's older youth. You mean violence wise? Not just that, but the show tells the stories of the characters finding themselves. Take Asami for example. A lot of people have a late relative and another relative involved in some kind of trouble. She had her relationships AND family business to take care of, which relates to some of today's youth who feel like they have the whole world on their shoulders. They're starting to have to take responsibility for things they can hardly manage, and seeing the triumph of a character like Asami is truly inspiring. Her mother's dead, her father's in prison, her boyfriend was stolen from her, and her business nearly failed. But she did not give up, which sends a positive message to today's generation of teens. Mako was not stolen from Asami he just chose Korra and everyone knows that thats what people wanted. As messed up as that sounds its the truth.
