Lord of the Rings: Return of the King PS2 Game Cheats: Minas Tirith Walkthrough

In The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King video game for the PS2 it's up to you to save the day as Gandalf and the other heroes from the movie! But, you may need a video game cheat to beat the bad guys. If you're fighting to save Minas Tirith on a Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox, Gameboy Advance or PC, Gary's got a game walkthrough that'll help the White Wizard kick serious orc butt.

In The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King for the PS2 I have become stuck on Minas Tirith on the top of the wall (path of the wizard). I can destroy one tower, but I do not know how to destroy the other, as there appears to be only one catapult. Please can u help?

It's time for a Gandalf-sized smackdown, is it? No worries, those orcs and trolls will never know what hit 'em when the White Wizard unleashes the beast with this Playstation 2 game walkthrough! And for all the peeps who haven't seen the rockin' movie yet (shame on you!), Minas Tirith is the capital of Gondor and the location of the biggest movie battle ever.

Return of the King Minas Tirith Battle Walkthrough

Alrighty, it's time for Gandalf to hike up his wizard robes and get to work! What you have to do is make sure the orcs don't crawl their way over the wall and give all the Gondorians wedgies they'll never forget. Running around and smackin' orcs with your sword works for a while, but then they pull up the big towers and things get ugly.

It sounds like you've figured out how to use the catapult in the bottom left to smash the first tower - huzzah! Now, what do you do when the second tower shows up? Well, it pops up on the far right and the only thing you can do is fill it full of arrows until it falls apart. There's no catapult this time around, just an old dude with a serious case of medieval vengeance.

Once the second tower falls it's a cakewalk, right? Yeah, sure it is... The third tower shows up on the left side, so make sure you're there in time to fight it. You can use the catapult again but after your first shot, a Nazgul shows up to give Gandalf a heapin' helpin' of the no-feeling. You have to scare it off by shooting it a few times, then you can use the catapult to finish off the tower.

Are we done yet? I don't think so! The fourth tower is the worst - you have to use the ropes to climb your way over to it. By the time you get there, it's already spitting out orcs like the world's biggest Pez dispenser - only without the sugary sweetness. It's time to unleash some magical vengeance. Take out all the orcs and then bust the tower up good. Once that tower is toast, head to the front gate with the Gondorian soldiers and you're done!
