The Cheetah Girls 411

Dec 27, 2006

The Cheetah Girls made their debut in book form back in 1999 when Deborah Gregory published the first of 16 Cheetah Girls novels. The series follows five multi-racial teen girls as they start up an all-girl band and set out on a mission to have their music heard. And what a job they've done. Read on to find out what the Cheetah Girls are up to now!

Cheetah Girls - Gone Wild

What started out as a book series exploded into something much bigger. In the summer of 2003, The Cheetah Girls became a Disney Channel Original Movie. The movie was different from the books a bit - there are only four girls in the band in the movie, but five in the books. The Disney flick stars Raven, former 3LW members Adrienne Bailon and Keily Williams and Sabrina Bryan (from the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful). The movie was then released on DVD on June 29, 2004. After years of speculation, the girls will finally be back on the small screen with the second Cheetah Girls TV movie - The Cheetah Girls 2: When in Spain. You can catch it on the Disney Channel on August 25, 2006.

Cheetah Girls - Belt it Out

The Cheetah Girls clan also have soundtracks to accompany their movies. All the tunes are sung by Raven and the gang and they are both available at a music store near you.
