Destiny's Child - Destiny Fulfilled

After successful solo stints by Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowlands and Michelle Williams, Destiny's Child has reunited for their sixth album, Destiny Fulfilled. But don't expect DC to give you the independent women vibe. Though the tracks on this album are strong songs, you also hear about their weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

Destiny's Child - Destiny Fulfilled Fun Facts

  • This album is a journey of a woman's search to find love, and each song is a continuation of the previous track.

  • The first track, Lose My Breath, is about a man full of empty promises, so the woman turns to a Soldier who can protect her. After finding a good man, she wants to cater to his every need in Cater 2 U. Destiny is fulfilled in the end with the last track, Love. The woman finally finds love in God and within herself, which is why she can eventually find love with a man.

  • For the first time, Beyonce acknowledges her relationship with Jay-Z. In the track, Soldier, she sings, "We like dem boys up top from the BK," which stands for Brooklyn where Jay-Z is from.

    Ja Rule - R.U.L.E.

During last year's war of words with gangsta rapper, 50 Cent, Ja Rule released Blood in My Eye, which was filled with what he called "hate music." Now, Ja is back with his sixth album, R.U.L.E. The lyrics are tamer and much more personal, which is why he kept it self-titled. Having paired up in the past with divas like J.Lo and Christina Milian to produce radio hits, Ja now collaborates with the likes of Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Lloyd and Trick Daddy.

Ja Rule - R.U.L.E. Fun Facts
  • R.U.L.E. debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Album Chart. However, it debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200.

  • With the help of R. Kelly and Ashanti, who sing on the hook of Wonderful, the track hit the top of the UK singles chart.

I saw the premiere before I left and I have to say, I was somewhat impressed. Of course it's not as good as BMW but I think they have good potential.

I was very impressed by the first episode of Doctor Who I watched which I believe was called "Rose". It was creepy  but with enough of a hint of humor that it made for an enjoyable and interesting program. Me and my dad will definitely be continuing to watch more and more episodes of Doctor Who in the future.

The answer, obviously, is Doctor Who. The show has technically been running for almost 51 years. It's  a British T.V. show about an alien with two hearts who has been living for over 1,000 years, with a time machine that can travel anywhere, or anytime, in the universe. But there's a catch to his machine, which is known as a T.A.R.D.I.S, (Time And Relative Dimension In Space): It is forever broken and disguised as a 1950's telephone box. He chooses not to fix it, despite the companions he travels with wondering to themselves, "Why doesn't he fix it? Why did he have to break it as telephone police box?" He also tends to attempt to keep the companions for as long as possible. They tend to keep him in check, safe, sane, and non-genocidal. After all, being 1,800 years old, and I'm just guessing precisely how old he is, can make you feel lonely, angry, confused, scared, and vengeful. He had to destroy his whole planet to protect the rest of the universe from being destroyed by his people and their age old enemies, the Daleks. He will forevermore remember that day, and as punishment, from the self concious weapon he used, will have to live through for a long, long time.
