Daxter: Action-Packed PSP Video Game Review

We review the action-packed Daxter video game for the Sony PSP!

In the original Jak and Daxter videogame, Daxter was the smarty-pants sidekick of the hero Jak. In Jak II, Jak starts by getting Jak-napped and imprisoned for a looooong time before he's rescued by his lil' buddy Daxter. Now you get to find out what Daxter was up to and how he rescued his big buddy in the Daxter video game for the Sony PSP! Here's our review.

What's Daxter Doing on the PSP?

What's up with the little guy? Running, jumping, jet-boosting and blasting bugs with all kinds of cool powered-up weapons! Daxter's an exterminator and you have to help him use all kinds of anti-bug gadgets to smash the creepy-crawlies. Along the way you'll find mini-games, items you can collect, power-ups for Daxter's flyswatter and bugsprayer and more.

Gettin' Your Furry Groove on With Daxter on the PSP

Brace your eyes for some seriously sweet graphics! Not only are Daxter's graphics pure candy but the sound effects rule, the action is rock solid and there are tons of items to collect. It's loaded with levels that'll keep you playing for hours and you can even hook up a copy of Jak X: Combat Racing for bonus power-ups!

Bugs and Lameness in Daxter for the PSP

The only bugs in this game are the ones you squash flat! Well, OK, there are a few problems with the camera controls, but that happens in every single game that uses one, so it's no biggie. Seriously, this game is 99% suck free!

Daxter vs. Suckage, Who Wins?

Not only does the furry lil' guy finally have his own game, but it's awesome! There are some camera issues, but that always happens with running and jumping games. Basically, if you have a PSP, you need to own this game.

Plug it into a copy of Jak X: Combat Racing for power-ups.

Excellent levels with lots of items to collect.
