The Vs. System Marvel and DC card game combines all the greatest superheroes and villains from both Marvel and DC comics into one giant battle royale! With the X-Men 3: The Last Stand movie coming in May 2006, an X-Men two-player starter deck dropped to let mutant fans jump in on the action. Here's the scoop on the deck, the game and more with our review!

Vs. System Card Game Mutant Mayhem 101!

The 411 on the Vs. System card game is right here so check it out. It's basically a card game of battling super-powered teams that lets you control your fave heroes like Spider-Man, Batman, Wolverine, Superman, Magneto, Mystique and others as you duel against your friends. The X-Men two-player Starter Deck comes with two, 40-card decks to get dueling with. One deck is packed with the heroic X-Men, the other is full of evil Brotherhood mutants!

The Vs. System X-Men Deck Review

The X-Men deck puts Beast, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Rogue, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm and Professor X on your team. It's a solid deck with good defense and characters that are stronger than most of the Brotherhood mutants.

The Vs. System Brotherhood of Mutants Deck Review

The Brotherhood deck gives you Mastermind, Destiny, Scarlet Witch, Avalanche, Toad, Mystique, Pyro, Sabertooth, Quicksilver and Magneto on your team. It's a really aggressive deck that doesn't have as much power as the X-Men deck, but it's great at wiping out opposing characters for good.

X-Men vs. the Brotherhood Which Deck Wins?

What's really awesome about this Starter Deck is that it's an even match! It all comes down to who gets the luck of the draw and who has the best strategy for winning. It's also a great way to get started with the Vs. System card game. One warning though, it's a complicated game and isn't for beginners!

X-Men Starter Deck Thumbs Up:

  • Evenly matched decks!
  • All the X-Men from the movies.
  • X-Men Starter Deck Thumbs Down:

  • Only a few Brotherhood mutants have been in the X-Men movies.
  • X-Men Starter Deck Rating:

Those of you who have used the "Easter Egg" on Toontown might be in for a rude awakening.  Whether or not you are aware of this, using the teleport bots has a chance of getting you banned!  These bots are NOT made by Disney and are made by a HACKER.  However, they do not give you any kind of keylogger.
