Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest DVD Review

Last we saw Captain Jack Sparrow, he'd managed to escape the death penalty, win back his precious boat, the Black Pearl, and lift an ancient Aztec curse. Of course, he had a little help from his new friends, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner. This summer, Jack is back and he has a whole bunch of new challenges ahead. Read Kidworld's review to find out if the latest Pirates flick lives up to first!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Davy Jones' Locker

After releasing himself and the crew who mutinied against him, you would think Captain Jack Sparrow would be living the high life. But instead he soon realizes he still has many debts to settle in the open sea - in particular, a very important one with Davy Jones. Davy, with the help of the unfortunate souls who have promised to serve him, controls all that goes on in the ocean. Those who double-cross him face the hungry jaws of the Kraken - a giant octopus-like beast that can swallow ships whole. The only way Jack Sparrow can avoid this horrible fate is to find the chest that contains Davy Jones' still-beating heart, which Davy cut out of his own chest when he lost the love of his life. Whoever possesses the heart will gain full control of the sea. Doesn't being a pirate sound like a complicated business?

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Love Lifts Us Up

While Jack is focused on settling things with Davy Jones, Elizabeth and Will have been arrested by a man named Norrington, who works for the East India Trading Company. They are charged with aiding a pirate for originally helping Jack escape in the first flick. Norrington wants Jack Sparrow's compass - and he knows that Will Turner will be able to track it down for him. So he strikes a deal: Will, Elizabeth and Jack's freedom for the compass - a compass that will lead him straight to Davy Jones' heart! As in any adventure flick, there are many obstacles along the way that prevent Will and Elizabeth from the task at hand, such as rival pirates, Davy Jones' watery crew and a run-in with an island of hungry savages!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Abandon Ship!

Sequels can be a tricky business, especially when the original movie was as spectacular as Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. But all you Pirates fans can rest easy knowing that this latest installment is just as good as the first! All of your favorite characters are back in some capacity and their new adventures are probably more exciting than their first. The only complaint you may have is that you'll be left hanging for a while cuz the next flick doesn't come out for another year!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - DVD Features

An epic adventure like Pirates of the Caribbean should definitely come with epic DVD features - and Disney doesn't disappoint. There are more than three hours of extra features on this two-disc edition, including a look at how they created the Kraken, how Jack Sparrow's character came to life, video of the Pirates movie premiere, a how-to lesson on handling a sword and a lot more! This DVD will make a great gift for anyone on your Christmas list!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Bottom Line
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is a fun fantasy flick that everyone will enjoy. It has action, adventure and some of the best special effects of the year. Davy Jones and his crew of barnacled scallywags look spectacular and the on-going sword play will keep you entertained the whole way through. This is a definite must-see this summer!

Here are my top 9 worst TV shows I have ever watched. 1. Breadwinners and Sanjay and Craig (tie) 2. Marvin Marvin 3.  Pickle and Peanut 4 Fred Figglehorn  5. Annoying Orange 6. Austin and Ally 7. Dog on a Blog 8. The Day My Butt Went Psycho (I'm not Canadian but it doesn't look like a good show) 9. Lab Rats  Basically every show that has a laugh track.  If you are looking for a good show, watch Doctor Who. No laugh tracks, humor is used properly, good storyline, DOESN'T take place in a school ALL OF THE TIME (well, it does in some episodes such as school reunion) The cast isn't full of teenagers and parents won't get so annoyed of the show. It's about a 900 year old time lord (who looks like a human) that travels in a TARDIS. He has 13 regenerations and almost always has a female companion with him. He is the last of his species so he's always lonely on Earth.

Plus he said MOST on cartoon Network. Not every show. I have to agree. There is better TV out there... Such as.... *takes deep breath* Doctor Who (Better than ALL of the trash they show on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and most cartoon network shows combined) Old spongebob (not the new spongebob episodes) Sherlock (hmmm I have never watched the show but i have heard it's awesome) I worship the BBC for making good things happen to the world.
