Cool New Shows for Fall 2007

Cool New Shows - Gossip Girl

From the creator of The O.C. comes Gossip Girl, a primetime drama about the lives of rich, glam teens in New York's Upper East Side. The action centers on Serena van der Woodsen and her frienemy Blair Waldorf. Veronica Mars fans take heart, the show is narrated by a mysterious blogger voiced by Kristen Bell!
Premieres: September 15, 2007 on The CW.

Cool New Shows - Kid Nation

This is the wild new reality show everyone's been talking about. 40 kids between the ages of eight and 15 are sent to a ghost town in New Mexico to rebuild it - without any adults. Will the kids be able to handle it? You'll have to watch to find out!
Premieres: September 19, 2007 on CBS.

Cool New Shows - Life is Wild

When an American veterinarian moves his wife and their four kids to rural South Africa, the kids are understandably shocked. But it doesn't take long for this family to come around to the idea. Part National Geographic, part 7th Heaven - the show has a little something for the whole family.
Premieres: October 7, 2007 on The CW.

Cool New Shows - iCarly

This new teen comedy is making TV history by being the first scripted series to integrate viewer-generated content - think Lonelygirl15 in sitcom form. The show follows Carly Shay (Drake and Josh's Miranda Cosgrove) on and off webcam as she lives her life and hosts her own home-grown web show. Oh, and viewer-submitted videos could wind up on the actual show!
Premieres: September 8, 2007 on Nickelodeon.

Cool New Shows - Chuck

Also from the creator of The O.C. (he's a busy guy), comes Chuck, a drama/comedy about a computer nerd who receives an e-mail that contains encoded government secrets. He may be a harmless geek - but to the government he's now enemy number one!
Premieres: September 24, 2007 on NBC.

Cool New Shows - Aliens in America

Aliens in America is a comedy about a Wisconsin teen whose mom signs up for an exchange student in a bid to make her son more cool. It comes as a shock to her when the student is a Muslim kid from Pakistan, but the boys soon discover they've got a lot in common - they're both outsiders.
Premieres: October 1, 2007 on The CW.
