MapleStory Card Game Review

If you're one of the 67 million people who play the MapleStory online game, you already know it's an online fantasy adventure game you can play for free - becoming a hero in a super-cute world full of monsters and people to chat with. Now there's a MapleStory card game too! It's from the folks who make Magic the Gathering and not only does it let you take the monster-bashing action home so you can duel with your friends, it also gives you free codes to unlock bonuses for the online game! Gary checked it out and here's his MapleStory game review.

MapleStory iTCG - Super Cute Fantasy Battles

The game comes in Starter Packs with 32 cards, two character cards, a Booster Pack and a CD with the online game and the 411 on all 96 cards. You can also get nine-card Booster Packs with a rare card and game code in each pack. You play by picking a character, either a Warrior, Bowman, Thief or Magician. Then you build a deck of cards - Monsters to attack your opponent and defend you, Items to power-up your other cards and Tactics to unleash special moves. The first person to knock their friend's HP to zero is the winner!

MapleStory iTCG - Super Awesome!

First, the MapleStory card game is super easy to learn! It's also easy to level-up as you play, quickly gaining the ability to unleash strong cards to crush your opponent. The artwork is awesome as well - an anime-ish style of super cute characters, monsters and magic.

MapleStory iTCG - Super Lame!

The MapleStory card game has super simple rules at first, but lots of cards add a twist to the rules and it can get crazy keeping track of things. It's also a bit tricky for new players to build decks, especially Thief decks!

MapleStory iTCG - Super or Silly?

Cute cards, simple rules, free codes and it's fun too. Woot! It can be a bit tricky once you start building decks, but the MapleStory iTCG is still a lot of fun. Imagine_feature What can we say that hasn’t been said already in our review of Eddie Murphy’s latest flick, Imagine That? Well, there IS one thing: the film's DVD was released on October 6, 2009.
