Amanda Bynes - The Beginning

Amanda Laura Bynes began her career acting in plays and commercials when she was about seven years old. For a little while the young actress did stand-up comedy in Hollywood at a place called the Laugh Factory until the producers of the Nickelodeon TV show All That asked her to come read for their show! The execs at Nick thought she was so talented they offered her her very own sketch comedy show, The Amanda Show, by the time she was 13.

Amanda Bynes - Small Screen to Silver Screen

After years of focusing on TV, Amanda made the transition onto the big screen with the 2002 flick Big Fat Liar with Frankie Muniz. Amanda played the part of Holly Tyler, a 16 year-old girl who moves in with her older sister (played by Jennie Garth) when their dad moves to Japan for work. The show was a hit, but that didn't hold Amanda back from working on other projects like the 2003 movie, What a Girl Wants, She's The Man in 2006 and Haispray in 2007.

Amanda Bynes - Sydney White

Most recently Amanda graces the big screen as Sydney White, a modern Snow White in her first year of college. Sydney plans to pledge her late mother's sorority, but changes her mind when she finds it's not quite as dignified as it used to be. The modern fairytale hits theaters September 21, 2007.
