Comic Book Heroes on The Big Screen

Superheroes are everywhere these days, especially in the movies. You've seen Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, the X-Men have hit the big screen a couple time and now this summer you can look forward to even more superhero action. Batman Begins starring Christian Bale and Katie Holmes is at a theater near you and soon you can catch Jessica Alba in the Fantastic Four flick. See what I mean? Superheroes cannot be stopped.

Superhero Movies - Spider-Man

Tobey Maguire has suited up a couple of times now as the infamous Spider-Man. And of course he also plays spidey's alter ego Peter Parker.

Superhero Movies - X-Men

The first X-Men movie (released in 2000) was a huge hit, with X-Men battling for equality while the Evil Mutants try to take over the world. In 2003, these comic book heroes hit the big screen again in X-Men 2. Bet you already have them in you DVD collection, huh?

X-Men & X-Men 2 (2000 & 2003)

  • Halle Berry - Storm/Ororo Munroe
  • Hugh Jackman - Wolverine/Logan

Superhero Movies - Batman

The whole Batman saga was pretty crazy. In 1989 Michael Keaton played the caped crusader in Batman and received awesome reviews. He returned in 1992 to play the same character in Batman Returns. Three years after that came Batman Forever with Val Kilmer as Batman. He didn't receive the hottest reviews but it was still a good show. In 1997, the creators busted out with Batman and Robin and George Clooney took the Batman role. Clooney was arguably the worst Batman of them all. Most recently Christian Bale has donned the black cape in Batman Begins.

Batman Begins (2005)

  • Christian Bale - Batman/Bruce Wayne
  • Liam Neeson - Ducard
  • Katie Holmes - Rachel Dawes

Batman and Robin (1997)

  • Tommy Lee Jones - Harvey Two-Face/Harvey Dent
  • Jim Carrey - The Riddler/Edward Nygma
  • Nicole Kidman - Dr. Chase Meridian

I know little to nothing about Tom Hiddleston, but he seems like a really nice guy, and I'd hate for Taylor to ruin his reputation. However, that isn't why I dislike their relationship. I dislike the fact that they are together because Taylor cheated on Calvin Harris with him and is playing the victim, as she does. Once her and Tom split, which they- inevitably- eventually will, she is going to blame it all on him although it will not be his fault. (If Tom is to ever cheat on her, she has absolutely no right to cry and whine about it. Maybe it'll be his fault, but it won't be his fault, if you get what I'm saying.) I give them 2 months until they break up. And it won't be Tom's fault. Hopefully it will happen before I spend a day with Tom so that there is no chance he would bring Taylor with him. Also, yes, she is just using guys for music.
