Dusting vampires all night long is great fun for slayers like Buffy, but sometimes a serious big bad rears its head up and things start getting ugly. The final boss in Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds for the Microsoft Xbox looks like Ethan Rayne but is way too strong! What you need is a cheat code or a walkthrough to make it all easier.

Hey Andie,

Right, so here's the deal. The big bad looks like Ethan Rayne, but is actually The First. If that isn't bad enough, there are three bad guys hangin' out and chanting. The real pain is that the boss is invulnerable, just like Superman, when you're all out of Kryptonite. Got it? Ok, here's the walkthrough on how to put this boss down for the count with Buffy's stylin' moves.

To pound some pain into The First you have to wipe out his invulnerability. You can do that by stopping the three cultist bad guys from chanting. But, if you stomp all three of them, three more show up. The best thing to do is to wipe out two of 'em and then shove the third one around like the wimp he is. If you can knock it out of the magic circle, The First will be vulnerable.

Now that you can turf the invulnerability, grab Hope's Dagger and cause some damage! Unfortunately, you'll only get one shot before your dagger goes flying. Then you have to grab it and knock over the chanting cultist again to get another shot.

So, you know how to hurt the boss, how about not getting smacked into next week by The First's attacks? Here they are and how to dodge 'em:

Blue balls of flame - you can dodge these pretty easily, just stay on your toes.

Death from below - if the ground beneath you lights up with a circle, move! It's not that hard to avoid this damage, just don't stand still.

The room sweeper - The First's third attack blasts the whole room and there are two ways to avoid it.
#1 - Jump! You can jump over the attack as it comes your way. This is hard though, so pound back a few cans of pop to get your reflexes all wired up first.
#2 - Hide! If you stand behind a pillar, it will block the attack and you'll be safe.
