Magic: The Gathering: Dissension Theme Deck Reviews
Courtesy of WizardsThe final Ravnica: City of Guilds expansion set, Dissension, brought 180 new cards to the Magic: the Gathering card game of dueling wizards. It also brought three new color-combo guilds and Theme Decks for you to kick butt with! We review all three of 'em right here.
Magic: Dissension: Azorius Ascendant Deck Review
Blue and
White team up in this awesome deck! It has incredible
blockers to defend itself from ground attacks, lots of
flyers for
aerial assaults and hordes of
cool powers that let it tap and untap creatures as well as
draw cards. This
deck can wipe the floor with the other two and it's even easy to play!
Azorius Ascendant Thumbs Up:
Solid defense and good flying attackers.
The cards combine really well!
Powers that let you draw cards and gain life.
The deck box holds cards properly.
Azorius Ascendant Thumbs Down:
Your opponents will whine as you beat them.

Magic: Dissension: Rakdos Bloodsport Deck Review
Packed with
Black and
Red damage and
destruction, this deck is full of
vicious creatures, fire spells and it powers up with
Hellbent if you run out of cards in your hand. It's weak in
multiplayer games, but can tear a single opponent apart and is pretty easy to play.
Rakdos Bloodsport Thumbs Up:
Black and Red = massive destruction!
Perfect for fast games with lots of action.
The deck box holds cards properly.
Rakdos Bloodsport Thumbs Down:
Sucks in multiplayer games.
You have to have no cards in your hand to use Hellbent.
Rakdos Bloodsport Deck Rating:

Magic: Dissension: Simic Mutology Deck Review
The Simic guild's crazy
mutant monsters crawl out of this
Blue and
Green deck and then start growing! Using the
Graft power, this deck can pump creatures up and give them
weird powers. It's a bit low on
creatures that can attack, so it's slow, but it makes
huge monsters and is awesome in multiplayer duels.
Simic Mutology Thumbs Up:
Lots of funky powers.
You can seriously power up your creatures.
The deck box actually holds cards properly.
Simic Mutology Thumbs Down:
Not many creatures.
It builds up slowly.
Simic Mutology Deck Rating:
