We review the ninja-riffic action in Shonen Jumps Naruto Collectible Card Game!

It's ninja time! Naruto and every other ninja who's ever snuck up on someone are having a battle and you can control them all with Shonen Jump's Naruto Collectible Card Game. That's right, Naruto, the most clueless ninja ever, has leapt out of his anime cartoon and into a card game. Gary checked it out and has the 411 on it with a card game review!

Naruto Card Game: Ninja Battling 101

The Naruto card game lets you take control of not just one ninja, but an entire village of them! Each player builds a deck of 40 cards with up to 25 ninja cards like Naruto Uzumake, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, Hatake Kakashi and others! You also add a bunch of Jutsu cards to give your ninjas special moves, plus Mission and Client cards for power-ups. Then you play by building ninja teams that battle each other. The first player to collect ten points, or to get rid of all the cards in his opponent's deck, wins!

Naruto Card Game - Ninja Mastery!

The coolness of this card game starts with you being able to kick ninja butt with Naruto and his friends and enemies. There are even different versions of each ninja, so you can always play them and don't have to pull some uber-combo to unleash Naruto's mad ninja skills. It's also an easy game to play that really grabs the feeling of the Naruto anime.

Naruto Uzumake - Clueless Ninja Spaz

The biggest problem with this game is that unless you're a Naruto fan, you have to learn some weird ninja words. Some cards need other cards before you can use them, which can be tricky. What's also wacky is that the Naruto card game website on the card packs isn't working!

Naruto Card Game - Ninja Master or Failure?

If you like the Naruto anime or manga, you'll really like this game. It's easy to play and really feels like you're controlling your fave ninja. It can be a bit confusing for new players, but it's still a solid game and you can find tournaments for it at the www.bandaicg.com/naruto/ website.

Naruto Card Game Thumbs Up:

  • Really feels like Naruto anime ninja battles!
  • Different versions of each ninja makes it easy to use them.
  • You get a metal ninja coin!

Naruto Card Game Thumbs Down:

  • Hard to use some cards.
  • Confusing ninja terms.
  • The Narutoccg.com website doesn't exist!

Naruto Card Game Rating: 4
