Meet the Robinsons Video Game Review

Disney’s got a new animated movie - Meet the Robinsons! Based on the book by William Joyce, it’s a time-travelling adventure packed with mad science projects and wacky family members. And, with the Meet the Robinsons video game for Gamecube, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii you can join the crazy family for an adventure of your own! Here’s Gary’s Meet the Robinsons game review.

Disney’s Meet the Robinsons - Time Travel and You

The Meet the Robinsons movie is all about Lewis but the game puts you in Wilbur’s shoes as he goes joyriding through history in a time machine - taking his picture with all the coolest dead folks. He needs you to help him on his adventures in the past, and in the future, with his wacky family and the evil Bowler Hat Guy!

Disney’s Meet the Robinsons - Future Family Fun

The coolest thing about this game is that it takes you outside of the movie with new levels, new villains and more! The gadgets are fun too, especially since each one unlocks a mini-game you can play afterwards - Xbox 360 gamers can even post their high scores on Xbox Live to show off to their friends.

Disney’s Meet the Robinsons - Time Traveling Problems

There are a bunch of bummers in this game, the biggest is that there’s no way to play with a friend, it’s all single player! It’s also missing the super-cool (and cute!) dinosaur from the movie (awww…). It would also be nice if you could make Wilbur jump.

Disney’s Meet the Robinsons - Fun for the Whole Family?

If you’re looking for a fun little game that won’t cost too much, Disney’s Meet the Robinsons is a solid adventure. Some multiplayer modes would really have helped it though, especially since there’s the whole Robinsons family but you can only play as Wilbur!
