Kidzworld's Top 10 Video Games of 2007!
It's the end of 2007 and Christmas is almost here, complete with the wrapping-paper party that lets you know how naughty or nice you've been all year long. If you've been good, or at least smart enough to not get caught, you might be busting open a Nintendo Wii or an Xbox 360. If you got busted being naughty, then you might be stuck with a stinker of a game, like Transformers, The Golden Compass, or maybe even Godzilla! Those games were awful, but what games were good? Gary's got a list of the Top 10 Games of 2007 for you so you'll know what to trade your clunkers in for! Check it out here, from #10 all the way to #1.
#10. BUZZ! Junior Jungle Party for PS2It's a funky jungle party with a pack of minigame lovin' monkeys! This fun game lets you custom-design a monkey and play with up to four people in a series of bizarre games. From painting an ape to farting in a pond, you play all the games with a super cute announcer and the help of four buzzer controllers - each with a BLINKY RED BUTTON! More games should have blinky red buttons.
#9. Bleach: Blade of Fate for DSThis Bleach game takes the characters from the hit anime TV show and unleashes them in a fighting game with a bunch of cool twists! The first twist - it doesn't suck. Seriously, the controls are awesome, the action is intense and the graphics rock. The second twist is a bizarre card game system you can use to tweak your fighting moves. To top it all off, your friends can join you without a cart and you can even battle across the web.
#8. Mario Strikers Charged for WiiThe Mushroom Kingdom knows how to turn soccer into 100% pure awesome! Super Mario Strikers earned a spot on the Top Games of 2005 and now the series is back. Mario Strikers Charged has crazy power-ups, tons of teams, Princess Peach in short shorts, big green Bowser laying the smackdown and supersized doses of awesome with the crazy shots on goal. It's soccer with a side of lightning and it's a blast.
#7. Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters for PSPThe pint-size PSP scored a great big pile of fun when this awesome game arrived! It has the destructive duo of Ratchet and Clank on a galaxy-wide mission to discover the secret of an ancient race - and to blow up everything along the way. The levels are a hoot, the weapons are absolutely awesome and there's even jet-surfing.
#6. The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass for DSLink the elf hero, Zelda the princess, a pirate queen, some schmuck named Steinbeck, a villain from the darkest depths of badness and a ton of adventure - this is a classic Zelda game, with brilliant puzzles, big bosses and lots of stuff to do. But you control everything with the touch screen! It's a fantastic taste of what the DS can do, it's fun, and it's easy enough for anybody to play.
