Sleepover is about friendships and first kisses, but is the music just as sweet as the movie? Find out if the soundtrack should make its way into your CD collection.

Friendship and first kisses flavor Alexa Vega's charming tween flick Sleepover, but is the music worth tuning in to? Read Kidzworld's review to find out if the soundtrack is just as sweet as the movie.

Sleepover Soundtrack - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

The overall feel of this soundtrack is girl power, which is perfect for tweens looking to unleash their inner brazen babe. Most of the songs from the movie starring Alexa Vega and Mika Boorem are fun-filled tracks that'll make you want to dance the night away at a sleepover. And since girls reign supreme on this album, it makes for great music when chillin' with your gal pals.

Sleepover Soundtrack - What's Hot

You'll find a lot of catchy pop tunes on this CD. Listen to funky tracks by Sugababes, Planet Melvin, and Allister's Stuck, which makes you want to drop what you're doing and dance like crazy! Also, I Want Everything by Hope 7 is the best tune on the album. It should be the theme song for the movie because Alexa Vega's character, Julie, wants everything - cool friends, an ultra-hot boyfriend, and popularity.

Sleepover Soundtrack - What's Not

The low point on this album is the remake of a couple of old songs. Modern voices put a new spin on these oldies, but who wants to listen to tunes from the past? And the award for the lamest track goes to Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Do peeps still sing along and dance around to songs by this spiced-out act? Didn't think so.

Sleepover Soundtrack - Final Verdict

If you like the Sleepover movie, then you'll definitely want to check out the soundtrack as well. It's full of fun, dance-worthy tunes that are guaranteed to get you groovin' with your best buds.
